Why does my dog bark excessively and how can I stop it?
Asked 2 years ago
My dog always barks whenever I have to leave the house and when I come back. It gives me headaches, how can I help her stop this behavior? My other dog does not do this.

The extreme barking could be a sign of separation anxiety – basically, your dog is distressed when left alone so he barks when he realizes you’re about to leave or when you return. Try setting up a camera to see if your dog is stressed while you’re out. You can also try offering a chew toy before you leave or turning the radio or TV on.
