How do I teach my dog to leave objects alone?

I would start using cues with her such as “leave it”. In the beginning when she starts doing this, use the command and be stern. When she drops the item, reward her with a treat or praise. Continue this process until she understands. Also using a clicker in this situation will make training easier.
