What happens to my pet insurance if my pet passes?

My dog was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and our family is getting ready to lay him to rest. We are getting the admin out of the way so we can tend to the emotion aspects of it all. I want to know what happens to my pet insurance after he passes?

Some pet insurance will either pay you out of what you may have put into the insurance or will help with “end of life” costs. I would speak to your insurance company to know what your next steps are. They may also request proof from your veterinarian of the diagnosis. I am so sorry for your loss.
